Slate is a fine, close weave linen with a very smooth finish and soft drape. The colour is greyer in tone than our other grey/silver-toned linen - Pewter. This fabric is opaque and suitable for a range of dressmaking applications. It will pleat and gather beautifully - and soften further with wash and wear.
