A softly structured waistcoat with a boxy fit, two welt pockets and a simple stitched belt at the back. Layer up in the winter or wear on its own in the summer in a tumbled linen.
All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.
Skill level; Intermediate. (Leaving the welt pockets off would make it an advanced beginner make)
Suitable fabrics – 5-8oz linen, 5-10oz denim, light – medium weight corduroy, wool, wool blends, cotton canvas or twill. For the lining: lightweight wovens such as calico, cotton lawn, cotton, cotton blends, tencel/linen (when choosing your cloth consider that the lining fabric may be visible).
This precious pattern will enable me to create delightful dresses for my grandchildren for the next few years. And I think it will provide a fresh look with different fabrics through the seasons. Love it. Thank you!

This pattern is a very easy sew, true to size. Easy to wear, get compliments every time I wear it. Made in a navy linen.

Great pattern
Great pattern though not for beginners as collar stand is narrow and need’s careful attention.

Pateen is so easy
Love this pattern what I have been looking for. My stash of patterns going back to the 70’s did not have this simple sew skirt, I could teach my daughter to understand the instructions. Thank you
