The Eve Trouser Sewing Pattern by Merchant & Mills offers a refined yet relaxed fit — cropped with a slightly tapered leg and optional turn-ups. Designed to sit neatly at the waist and over the hips, these trousers feature a simple side zip, two back pockets, and the option for pleats or darts at the waist seam for a tailored finish.

This pattern is suitable for intermediate sewists and includes additional fit details for sizes 18–28, featuring a touch of elastic at the back waistband for extra comfort.

For best results, choose a mid- to heavyweight fabric such as cotton canvas, sanded twill, corduroy, light to medium woollens, or denim. Lighter fabrics like linen or Tencel/linen blends will create a softer, more relaxed silhouette.

Although I haven’t used the pattern yet, I give this company a five star rating on their customer service.
